Spiritual Truth Awaits You

The spiritual truth will free you from any confusion. Your questions will be answered with this information. When I think of qualities of the spirit I think of what is inside a person. What is at the core of your being? What is your purpose here? How do you feel about yourself? Are you at peace with who you are? How would you describe your attitude? The answers to these questions describes the spirit within you. I don't want you to confuse religion with spirituality. I see religion differently than spirituality. I see religion as a set of beliefs and practices agreed upon by a number of people. You don't need to be religious to be spiritual. This is a spiritual truth.

There is a higher power that exists. In the year 2000 a world wide census was conducted and they found that 95% of people believe this to be true. Of that 95% over 50% of those asked call this power God. In my humble opinion, I believe God is Love. There are many different names for this power, Divine Mind, Universal Intelligence, Higher self, or any other name you may call it.

If a religious person hates, God is not present. If an atheist loves, then there He is.

Think of God and spirit as a hawk - with not only a view from high above, but a keen vision to see from that great distance, and encompass everything around. Compare that to our limited vision from the ground. Spirit can see things on our... horizon that we cannot see, so therefore, the perspective is far greater than ours. By allowing their guidance and following it (knowing that they can see what we cannot) we can move much more quickly through our process and move more directly toward enlightenment. We just have to have the faith and trust in them. A hawks' vision is about 8 x greater than a human's, and since they soar high above, they can see the landscape. If we remember spirit can see with spiritual eyes and are greater than our own, they can see from a better perspective, encompasses more, it helps us put our faith in their guidance.

I have chosen a few topics in helping you become the being you were meant to be. I will briefly discuss them now. I think being true to oneself as a key component in one's own being. To know yourself and love yourself completely as you are gives you freedom. You need to be your own person such as Senor Quezon who was the first president of the Philippine Islands in 1934. His dream in 1910 was to free his people and become the first president. This is what he said...

You have the strength within yourself to be your own person and not let other people influence your spirit within you. When you allow the actions of another person to upset you in any way you are giving control over to them. Think about it, if you get upset by anothers actions, they are pushing your buttons. Take back the control in your life by being strong and true to yourself. Instead of getting upset look at that person with compassion, after all you don't know how that person thinks.

What the undeveloped man seeks is outside. What the advanced man seeks is within himself.

Meditation can connect you with your spiritual nature Meditation, have you tried it? From everything that I have read this is a very important aspect in developing your being. I have found this practice to be very relaxing and starts my day with making myself calm and at peace with the world. I go about my day in an easy pace knowing I will accomplish everything that needs to be done. There are many techniques for meditation, basically all I do is sit for 20 to 30 minutes first thing when I wake up and I focus on my breathing, that's it. Try it, if you stick with it you will feel awesome! You will find spiritual truth when you quiet your mind and listen.

This book was written in 1959 by Viktor with descriptions of life in Nazi death camps and its lessons for spiritual truth and survival. An excellent book, it will change your perspective on life.

Cosmic Consciousness

Like a flash there is presented to his consciousness a clear conception (a vision) in outline of the meaning and drift of the universe. He does not come to believe merely; but he sees and knows that the cosmos, which to the self conscious mind seems made up of dead matter, is in fact far otherwise - is in very truth a living presence. He sees that instead of men being, as it were, patches of life scattered through an infinite sea of non-living substance, they are in reality specks of relative death in an infinite ocean of life. He sees that the life which is in man is eternal, as all life is eternal; that the soul of man is s immortal as God is; that the universe is so built and ordered that without any peradventure all things work together for the good of each and all; that the foundation principle of the world is what we call love; and that the happiness of every individual is in the long run absolutely certain.

This book was way ahead of it's time and probably still is. There is incredible wisdom and insight included in this book. If you are on a quest for spiritual truth, this is a book worth reading. You may not agree with everything is this book as I do, but you must discern what is important to you on your quest for spiritual truth. Every person's path is different from another, I am sharing with you the wisdom for my journey. May you see wisdom daily on your wondrous journey.
