Emotional Healing Through Understanding

emotion.jpg

Your own emotional healing will free you from your past errors and let you discover what an amazing person you really are. We will look at many emotions and ways you can understand them and change your emotions to the ones that will make you grow as a person and free you from your past.

There are two main emotions that our little minds battle between (when I say that I am referring to our egos), they are love and fear. Our ego desperately wants us to stay with fear, keeping our ego alive and thriving. Love is the most powerful emotion we can develop. When you change your thinking towards love and away from fear you will feel more alive. It takes practice to do this, a little more each day, grow love within you and you will live a wonderful life.

If you love the life you live...you will live a life of love.

This information is from Secrets of the Lost Mode of Prayer by Gregg Braden...Specifically, it is the unresolved negative emotions - our hurts - that have the power to create the physical conditions that we recognize as cardiovascular disease: tension, inflammation, high blood pressure, and clogged arteries. This mind body relationship was documented recently in a landmark study at Duke University directed by James Blumenthat. He identified long-term experiences of fear, frustration, anxiety, and disappointment as examples of the kind of heightened negative emotions that are destructive to the heart and put us at risk. Each is a part of a broader umbrella that we commonly identify as "hurt."

This study along with others, isn't suggesting that it's bad or unhealthy to experience negative emotions in the short term. When we do have these feelings in life, they're indicators, personal gauges, telling us that something has happened that's asking for attention and healing. It's only when we ignore these emotions and they go on for months, years, or a lifetime without being resolved, that they may become a problem.

This information was inspiring to me knowing I can improve my health by dealing with those old negative emotions from the past which I never dealt with. Emotional healing can be yours when you apply this wisdom in your life.

Emotions are wild horses. It is not explanations that carry us forward, but our will to go on.

Brida by Paulo Coelho Emotional healing will become easier when you go to your inner world.

Realize that the emotions you are feeling at this very moment are a gift, a guideline, a support system, a call to action. If you suppress your emotions and try to drive them out of your life, or if you magnify them and allow them to take over everything, then you're squandering one of life's most precious resources.

Anthony Robbins

This quote is from the chapter titled "The Ten Emotions of Power" in the book by Anthony Robbins Awaken the Giant Within. This is an excellent chapter if you want to use your emotions to drive you forward to a life of happiness and love.

This is from an awesome book...The Shadow Effect written by Deepak Chopra, Debbie Ford and Marianne Williamson. Until you make peace with negative feelings, they will persist. The way to deal with negativity is to acknowledge it. Nothing more is needed.

I was taught you should not have feeling of hate or anger and I always wondered when I suppressed those feelings they would continue to come back. Now I understand! Just acknowledge them and say they are part of you and guess what happens to those feelings, they begin to fade away. I am grateful for this information and I hope it helps you in your emotional healing.

Attitude is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than what people do or say. It is more important than appearance, giftedness, or skill.

Charles Swindoll

Emotional healing will take time, heal yourself a little each day. Acknowledge all of your thoughts and you will find the peace within you. Never give up on yourself or your Creator. You are a very strong and loving person, let the emotional healing begin.
